24K Magic Night Brings Bruno Mars Energy to CCA Volleyball

Bruno Mars is bringing the door prizes!

Canyon Crest Academy is turning up the volume this season with 24K Magic Night: a Bruno Mars-Themed Volleyball Home Game, set to be the program’s biggest, boldest event of the year.

THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 25! Events start at 5:30 pm

The idea for this sparkling celebration came from head coach Samantha Cash, who joined CCA last year. Cash wanted to infuse the same energy, confidence, and excitement that Bruno Mars brings to his concerts into one of the team’s games each season. Much like Mars’ performances, the evening is designed to celebrate confidence, friendship, fun, and golden moments—all while building a strong sense of community spirit across CCA’s clubs and teams.

And this won’t be just another game. The gym will be transformed into a golden spectacle, complete with themed entertainment, giveaways, and a “Gold Out” dress code. Fans are encouraged to wear glitter, sequins, gold, or Bruno-inspired looks to both school and the game.

Event Highlights:

• Free hot dogs and drinks for everyone

• Free Raffle (tickets handed out just for showing up. 2 extra tickets for going GOLD OUT!)

• Live Band from the CCA Music program

• Hats, gold chains, funky glasses, and more from volleyball players

• 24K chocolate coins and “money mints” launched into the crowd

• Gold necklaces, sparkly stickers, and fan posters for attendees

• Glitter face paint station to glam up before the game

• Dance Team live performance

• MCs: One Galido and John Michael Maury

• Cheer Club spirit squad

• Student band Envision playing Bruno Mars hits during warm-ups

• Massive themed decorations, including a red carpet and an 8x8 ft inflatable disco ball (perfect photo op!)

• Coaches dressed in Bruno Mars–style glam

• Churro fundraiser to support the team

• Possible surprise appearance by the Raven Mascot

• GOLD OUT theme – wear glitter, sequins, and Bruno-inspired outfits

• ASB “Fill the Flock!” initiative

• Envision Arts collaboration

“It’s our biggest home game of the year,” said the team in a statement. “If you were going to go to one volleyball game, let this be the one! Let’s pack the gym!”

But 24K Magic Night isn’t just about one evening of celebration—it’s about strengthening connections across the CCA community. To highlight this, the volleyball team has pledged to support other groups throughout the year. In return for the energy clubs bring to this event, players promise to show up at other student activities—from performances to games—to cheer on their peers.

“We would love for your club to join us,” the volleyball team said. “In return, our team will be there for your events, too. Let’s make this year about supporting one another.”

With music, glitter, giveaways, and school pride shining brighter than ever, 24K Magic Night promises to be an unforgettable celebration of CCA spirit.
