Sweetwater, August 24, 2024 – The Sweetwater Classic Volleyball Tournament, held on August 23rd and 24th at Sweetwater High School, showcased some of the best young volleyball talent in the region. Among the standout performances, our freshmen team emerged as a highlight, securing a well-deserved silver medal under the guidance of their new coach, Sophia Theriot.
This year’s tournament featured intense competition, with teams from various schools coming together for two days of high-energy matches. Our freshmen team, led by Coach Theriot, demonstrated exceptional skill and teamwork, quickly becoming a force to be reckoned with.
Coach Sophia Theriot, who is in her first year with the team, has already made a significant impact. Her strategic acumen and motivational leadership were evident throughout the tournament. Her ability to inspire and adapt strategies on the fly was instrumental in guiding our young athletes through the competitive field.
